DXO insists on checking for updates and who knows what else when opening. It works fine for me, but I find it a bit slow to load as I don't like keeping PL5 open unless I'm using it. I use the "transfer to DXO" option in the "Library menu (plugins)". I don't know if this has changed with the current release, but with the number of people who love it I assume it has. I do know a friend found the two frustrating a year ago. I do not have Pure Raw, so I'm not sure how easy it is to move back and forth. I depend on LR all DMR and almost all of my editing.

Update: it looks like the last maintenance update has changed the file export date to the shoot date. It's fairly cheap to get into the Elite version but the updates are expensive and limited.

I'm left to wonder how many pro 'togs they listen to because while minor by themselves these things just make for friction in the work flow. I resort to local microcontrast increases and export sharpening but they fall short of what lens sharpening can achieve. That means there's no lens sharpening option in the edit function and unmask sharp does very little. I have to keep checking whether they've done the right module but years down the track it's still a gap. Every thumbnail indicates that there's a module for it but it's a Canon module. There's no camera module for the Sony 400/2.8 which is my most-used lens (with the A9 and A1).
